Ola Bloggers! In my previous Instagram post, someone asked me my opinion on the Givenchy Noir mascara which has led me to create a post about this product. I must say that mascara is seriously the makeup product I use (almost) everyday when I head outside. I can leave my home without foundation, concealer etc on my face but mascara is something I NEED  in my bag. I love experimenting with new brands as well. So stay put, relax & read more on how I’m experiencing le Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara
This product is Givenchy’s first 4 in one mascara that creates volume, strong curl, infinite length and complete lash care. This product attracted me as soon as I entered the cosmetics store due to their big ad that was hanging there on the wall! Really abstract, luxurious, innovative and gorgeous! I saw the design of the product & this made me curious to know more about it. I read what the 4 advantages were and I was happy to read the words ”lash care”. I’ve used mascaras in the past whereby aftter some hours the products starts itching on my eyelids! No joke! Apparantly this mascara consists of ingredients such as beewax,  that conditions and strengthens the lashes so that the hair doesn’t break off when you clean off the mascara which can be possible when you’re not using a good mascara. Givenchy Noir Couture comes in 2 colors which are black and  brown. If you prefer waterproof instead, not to worry, that’s possible too. The waterproof is available in black & purple! How cool is that!

My Experience
Okay so now you guys wanna know what I think about the product. So I have been using it for about 2 months now and I have to say I’m quite satisfied. I must say I’ve used better mascaras. The only disadvantage that I’m experiencing is that I do get somewhat clumps here and there when I apply it but this is due to the brush that isn’t doing it for me. It gets even worse when I apply a second coat so I never do this with this mascara. The good thing is the substance can definately go for a while. I use mascara almost everyday and normally they do not last longer than a month but I’m in my second month now. On to the next one yayyy! hahaha.

Would I buy it again?
I would not buy it again. The reason is simple. These types of brushes simply do not work with my lashes. I get clumps like crazy, it doesn’t matter which brand it is. With this mascara, it’s not that bad but I still have it though. My lashes can only handle mascara with plastic combs but some girls have the worst experiences with those. This is different for everybody. The great thing about this mascara is, I haven’t experienced any smudging after some hours and it stays on until the end of the day! To come back to the mascara wands, for those that love and use natural bristeles wands most of the time, I would definately recommend this product because it does give you that subtle volume and infinite length!
Where is it sold & what’s the price?
In the Netherlands you can find it at Douglas, Ici Paris XL and de Bijenkorf. The price is around 30 euros. The price may vary in different shops. In The UK the price is approximately 23 pounds.
I really do love the design though! Don’t you?

Loved the post, I see you like higher end products, I'm also slowly venturing into that world without going broke lol. I love make up and trying out new stuff. Might just try out this mascara if I happen to find it 😀

It is an absolutely stunning mascara so it's a shame that it doesn't work on your eye lashes:( I love YSL's shocking and L'Oreal's 4D mascara. They are both great. I'm about to try a new brand called LashControl where you're not meant to get any clumps because you are the one squeezing enough product out to apply the mascara. I hope it works! X

Ive seen YSL's shocking as well but never tried it! Maybe i'll do that after this one! xoxo
