Hi guys! Welcome back to another article on It’s True Blog. Today I want to sit back and just chit chat a little bit with you guys on my goals that I want to achieve in 2018. So Here Are My Goals For The Year 2018. Keep on reading.
From the moment that we enter a new year, I love to set goals for myself. Personally it helps me to remain focused and motivated. It helps me to work towards something that I really want to achieve that moment in time. My goals for this year isn’t a long list. I just really want to focus and set goals that are going to prioriticed this year and hopefully be achieved by the end of this year. So these are my goals for 2018.
1 – Start and grow my freelance business
In my last post, I was already talking about why everyone who has been thinking of becoming a freelancer should start freelancing this year. Well I’ve been thinking about it for a while and this year I’ve made the bold decision to fully focus on freelancing. I’m just passionate about digital marketing and helping people/businesses use digital platforms as effectively and efficiently as possible. I will definitely share more about my freelance business with you guys when the website is finalised. I can’t wait to tell you more about it!
2 – Travel to a country I’ve never been before
Ever since I was 17, I decided that I wanted to see more of the world. Mee and my sisters have been traveling to new countries ever since. Traveling keeps me inspired, traveling gives me happiness and most important – traveling gives me the feeling of complete freedom. This year, I would love to travel to a country that I’ve never been before. My journey will start in Accra, Ghana and I’m super excited about the travels that 2018 holds for me. I don’t have a specific preference however I have been dreaming about a trip to Iceland, South Africa and Tanzania.
3 – Give back
It’s been on my mind for a while now to be involved with charity and charity work. I want to give back to the less fortunate. Everyday I just count my blessings and try to always remain grateful and thankful for my life as it is. My life is far from perfect but I also realise that there are people out there who would do anything to get the opportunities that I have. I’ve been thinking of giving back but this time by actually being involved and conscious about specific causes. I’ll be traveling to Ghana soon and I really want to be involved with some charities there to contribute to change, even if it’s ”little”.
4 – Love harder
I’ve realised that last year was a year that I was a bit careful and sceptical about people that I would meet and the people I would call friends. I mean it’s good to be ”picky” on who you call friends and who you want to make time for. But for me personally, I felt that last year I had my guards up a little bit too much. I had a fear of letting new people in and just love. This year is going to be a year of love. A year that I just let me guards down. A year that I’m going to love harder, love without regrets, love without fear and just be care-free.
